It will cover features of the HDF5 library for achieving better I/O performance and efficient storage. The following HDF5 features will be discussed: partial I/O, chunked storage layout, and compression. We will also cover topics requested by the Workshop participants.
This tutorial is for persons who are already familiar with HDF5 and wish to take advantage is some of its advanced features.
