LaRC_MISR

This document describes the LaRC MISR HDF-EOS2 and HDF4 files.

HDF-EOS2 grid files

The projection is GEO, LAMAZ or SOM. The following table summarizes the information collected for the files:

* MISR file whose projection is SOM provide two ways to handle latitude and longitude. One way is to calculate latitude and longitude through EOS-HDF library. The other way is to provide MISR_AGP file;
** The HDF-EOS2 library can retrieve the latitude and longitude correctly for file whose projection is LAMAZ.

HDF4 files

The following table summarizes the information collected for the HDF4 files:
